CFG File Virus?
I was just wondering, if i got a cfg file from the internet for fps, is there a possibility it could have a virus to hijack my steam account or something?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

upload it to virustotal or scan the file download link with urlvoid.
In virustotal if it only says it got detected by 4 scanners or something which you don't know (Then they are probaply sh*tty false alarm detections) and some urlvoid dangers are false alarm as well. Do that if you don't trust a file. Also open the .cfg file with as example notepad to see if it got any weird things. I though .cfg files are just text files you can edit as for example autoexec.cfg (search it on youtube for example csgo, which also uses source engine)
