Can I use leaked gmod store stuff on my server?

Hey I'm thinking of opening a darkrp server but arcbank and Vcmod is really expensive , can I just get the leak on nulledbb? Will it work and don't I need a one time activation code on it? Should I use leaks is there anything wrong with them?

They could be possibly backdoored, but using leaks can and will get you banned from GMod Store. Also, using leaks hurts the developer, as it is very similar to piracy

Don't run a server if you don't have any form of money to run it legally. No, you can not steal content from developers, backdoors are polluted in them, you don't get updates with them, and you don't get any support from them.

Stay away from servers if you have no income, or change gamemodes to a gamemode that isn't addon heavy.

I have some advice, You could ask SwepThrone, I think he Did some things from GmodStore a while ago, I'm not sure what ones he did because I have no interest in gmodstore addons...

Gmodstore actually does not ban for using leaks.

However , i would say 99% of the "leaks" out there are backdoored/missing files/have extra needless files added or are just there to sucker people not wanting to spend $5.

VCMod uses a api key to unlock it's features, you could bypass it, but there is not 1 leak of it out there that is up to date or working. Also vcmod has a internal error at this present time every user having it has, notice it spams particle errors in console? ye it does.

Use Williams car dealer it's good enough, or BUY vcmod duh.

And yes, those guys made those programs, they update them all the time so unless you have access to those updates you will be using a product that has potential flaws/issues/errors.

Spend the $$$ and support those developers man, gmodstore isn't the greatest we all know that, and they pick favorites and use a bunch of scripted fake reviews, but those developers did make those programs, so support them.

If you can't spend a few bucks for content you want for YOUR server, then to be honest you don't deserve a server. That's real talk.

That's strawmanning right there, let me supply a more realistic scenario.

Vast majority of developers spend a few weeks (medium-scripts) of their time developing, while developers like VCMod, CAC, Pointshop 2, Car dealer, Server Guard and so on take longer to develop and still have frequent support. If you spent months making something with hopes to make some cash off of your work and you hear some kids who are too lazy to get jobs but think it's a good idea to run a server off of stolen content took your work and made profit off of it, how would you feel my dude? You need to be a creator to relate a bit better.

For things like the ones I see from "ayy, buy the original version" "ayy, support the creators", maybe they know that 5 dollars in Latin America is more than they think, in 5 dollars, they are around 13 or even 15 soles(soles is money of peru) Do you think that would be spent for a simple lua script? It gives me high embarrassment to make stores like "gmod store", not that the community of addons and lua script is F R E E? even half life 2 is 22.00 soles and the valve complete pack is 88.86 soles, do you think it's cheap?
