What's up with zombie survival maps in gmod?

I have a few of them. One time I launched one up, and it was a whole lot of nothing. Just an abandoned hospital with a fence around it, & at the gate a truck was freaking out from the beginning. I explored the building and there weren't an zombies. That was very confusing for me. False advertisement. I had to spawn the zombies in myself. I thought the map would already have zombies on it. And no matter how much that truck freaked out, NOTHING happened, unless I spawned in the enemies.

Zombie Survival is a multiplayer only gamemode.
No NPCs, just other players.

OH. okay. I got friends who have gmod,but they haven't asked to play gmod with me so I'm all alone for now :p Thanks for the info. I didn't know that's why the maps didn't spawn any zombies. It only realized one player spawning :p

The maps here do all the hard work for you: proper noding, automatic zombie spawns, and stuff like that. All that's left for you to do is hold'em off.

Thanks. Spawning zombies is annoying. I'm not a big fan of the zombie survivals I made on my own. :p It got super boring super fast. I'd spawn the zombies behind a barrier & I'd spawn an npc team since I don't get asked to play gmod multiplayer. And I'm not looking to be on youtube either. Then I'd move the barrier the zombies are behind and fight them. :p It's not as fun anymore.
