Project Synapse HL2RP server is amazing!!!

I played this server recently and as a person that hate roleplay servers, because of the stupid ♥♥♥♥ in them like RDM, NLR,etc… Like these rules I think ruin the creative someone can have while playing the server with others. But Synapse is simple no physgun, and only voice/text chat. The server is alive like a GTA SAMP server I played, it feel immersive when there no teleport by the admin over “failrp” and players working together on the map doing things.

This server make me laugh at times from the players. How one guy stun sticked for talking in the line that’s long.

I died of starvation and they let my body on the ground, but overall the server is quite devoid of purpose and as of now, I didn't see anything worth playing for longer periods of time.

I honestly feel like you’re giving the server too much “props” before you fully experienced any deep roleplay in Project: Synapse. It is basically, at this point, a CityRP server as staff are the biggest issue on the server as they constantly meta game, use their noclip to their advantage during combat situations. They abuse their whitelist flags that they have all the time as well. You will find yourself spending hours possibly even days trying to gain some decent loot to have, just to lose it to an over-powered zombie attempting to get through the sewers. Not to mention your admin ticket will never be handled if you requested any help for anything. The content in the server is impressive and very fun to play on but the administration of the server is what takes the fun away. Sucks to see a server like that wither away because of staff… Theres plenty of sources on YouTube showing staff on the server abuse their power and them abusing is widely known throughout their community and previous communities they merged from as well. Hawke and the other man children admins of the server need to honestly just get demoted.

NOTE: Literally every single staff member Mains Character as Combine. Theres only ONE staff member that mains as a Rebel. Says a lot

Merp you seem like you have like how do I say this?. Like a long history or like experience dealing with the people in charge of Project-Synapse. Does reporting their staff even work?. I was kicked off twice of their discord for making suggestions and muted for no reason at all. And eventually during my last couple hours on the server I got muted. Tried making an appeal which got denied for no reason. Then made a follow up appeal because of it. That got immediately denied and promptly I was banned. And later community banned by some Senior Moderator called Cazette. I think he kicked me twice off the discord server.

Also my experience on their DC server was pretty horrid. The staff are rude including the project lead hawke. He told me to simply F off after replying to one of his messages with "quick question".
And to top it off some Senior Moderator called Cazette just roasted me during my time on the Discord server.

Basically I was wondering if I was framed in some kind of way so I could get community banned. I'm asking since you probably have a a hand or have seen what they have done.

Synapse was a great server when I first found it,

after 1 day of non stop grinding industrial worker I got a 1 day ban for my Rp name being Jason Born and my charater was wiped.

I submitted a clip of me getting banned out of nowhere for my appeal and my ban got EXTENDED for 1 week because the clip showed I was in a discord call with my friend at the time and that was apartently cheating.

Waste your life on a server that isnt this petty about was you do on your own computer, join a server where your entire in game profile wont be jepordized because you wanted to talk to a friend.

I'm going to make it not-so-short, but very bitter-sweet:
Synapse sucks.

Why? There's a lot of reasons why. For one, they suppress an ENTIRE playerbase. That, of course, is the rebel playerbase. Try voicing a complaint in their general chat, see where it gets you.

Not just that, they pride themselves so much on being a "ROLEPLAY" server, that when I WANT to roleplay liberating the citizens? I get called out for being a "pvpmaxxer". Well, sorry to toot my own horn, but I'd say being a freedom fighter fits the role of being a rebel quite well.

Nonetheless, after playing for three days, they banned me for "exploiting" and using this random thing called "ESP" (I, to this day, have no clue what that is.. xd), after I managed to get some NASTY noscopes on some cops with the M24. Hell, I even found an assault rifle sitting on someone's corpse.. free loot! Immediately rushed to the plaza, killed some cops, and then they all started pinging me in general chat for some reason.. well, boo-hoo it isn't the uprising! Why don't you go cry to your senior admin, Cazzete, the one that permabanned me? Or, better yet, how about you spawn another explosive BARREL right in front of me so I lose all my gear?

So, yeah. The community is FILLED with bootlickers, people that treat this mere server as a 9-5 and GENUINELY act the role.. like, dude. It's a game. Lighten up a bit. But, I'll forever stand by my opinion: Synapse is a joke. Go play something proper like Deep Gaming.

ESP is the ability to see through walls if I recall correctly.

Also I agree, their server is pretty realistic and there's quite a lot of events made by admins, but it's really really boring and tedious.

It would be like making a Shakespear scenario but everytime the characters go to sleep, you have to walk 40 minutes in the same place to pretend going there.

There's currently a bug with the factory machines that make them straight up not work. Instead of CP understanding that a game mechanic is broken, they'd rather use that OOC reason of the machines being bugged to ICly punish people and wipe hours of accumulated points. Like, genuinely what is the point of playing if people aren't going to have a semblance of tact and take everything for what is a well known OOC bug? And if you voice about how the machines were breaking ICly you get sent to the equivalent of an admin jail. Cool "roleplay".
