Garry's Mod becoming free?
Do you think that in the not so distant future Garry's Mod might become free to play? I think it's a real possibility just like with TF2.

I think Garry's Mod could survive on special items like that but I guess people would make copies on steam workshop

Well, i guess it could. make it so that in order to get a premium accout, you can go to the garrys shop and buy special perks like always have more health, spawn with better guns, special player models eta.

True, but ones that you cant get and cant port with, make them unable to port into a mod. like special ones. and perks for more heslth that are more unportable stuff. get my point?

Make it unportable and the main thing of addons make it so anything that has same files from DLC make it unportable, simple as that, right?

DLC has ruined so many other 'games', if you want to play G-mod, just pony up the couple dollars and buy it. Devs used to work hard to include as much content as possible on disks (to make up for the $60 price tag), now they nickel and dime you to death. That's why the indie scene is coming up, and the big boxes are hurting. Downsize now, ask questions later.
