Try to play Garry's Mod, it brings me back to main menu when I start a game

For over a month now, I have been waiting for a gmod patch. Why? Cuz I can't play the f**king game! When I try to play single player, it brings up the loading screen, then after ten seconds, it brings me to the main menu, and I get a Steam Cloud web browser pop up saying I have "script errors". I have uninstalled the game, defragged files, got rid of ALL my addons, it still won't work.

I know that Garry has other things to do then tend to the game attending to our every whim, but come on! I've waited a whole month for a patch, and I'm tired of it. And I probably sound like a whiny brat right now, but he'd better have a good reason for not giving any news the past month.

Sorry mate i dunno what your talking about, knowing garry (i dont) he will probably have it fixed at the patch or when enough people complain about it, atm me and loads of other people are suffering from a glitch that started about an hour ago when you cant use your addons lol

Might be somthing with steam. Not the game itself. Try uninstalling steam and re-installing it

Found a solution :D
Delete your Garry's mod folder and reinstall Garry's mod entirely.
It worked for me.
