CHECKERED BLACK AND PURPLE BOX

when I log on to garrys mod everything works fine but when I go on ANY stage it just appears with a purple and black checkered box appears on my screen its like some one stuck that infront of my eyes cause thats all you can see I can spawn walk change model but I can't see a thing help me!!!!! plz

This could also be because there is a missing texture.

a restart fixed mine. a viewmodel texture or variable must have had trouble loading

could be possibly due to a large amount of addons

Your missing the required garrys mod steam based games thats why your getting pink and black texures Buy Counter strike source, Team fortess 2 , Half life series and other gmod steam based games
