Go to
Program Files (x86) / Steam / SteamApps / common / Garrysmod / garrysmod / addons
Delete all of your workshop addons in the folder and launch Garry's mod, You should see all of your workshop addons downloading again, Hope this works for all of you.
So... basically your fix was based off of my idea of searching that folder for the content itself. The content that was missing, needs to be deleted (missing, possibly not there)?
I'm serious. Also, stop replying to this old thread.
