How do you make a proper Gmod video?

I rencently came up for a gmod video idea after messing around in gmod. What if a Doctor Who intro was done using gmod? only thing is I dont know anything about film making... I did take quite a few screenshots though to show the concept I had.

Well I have posted Gmod videos in teh past but the thing is they're worst ones in Youtbe. This all happened before I actually heard of a camera tool! So ifyou friend me I'll see what I can do to teach with hands-on experience.

That is for source film maker It is smother but Im just getting the hang of Gmod as it is I dont want to have to learn my way around another program.

I never knew SFM was free though! Know what maby I will take a look at it but what I ment by proper gmod video I ment how do you record actual video? I know you can record but you have to be in Gmod to watch the recording... Im taking about an actual video you can watch in windows vidoe player.

My plan so far has been stop-go animation. Take a bunch of pictures in quick succesion to imulate movement but its really choppy like most gmod stop go animation.
