For mac: Gmod keeps crashing
My Gmod keeps crashing after I open up the app on my mac. I get the black screen for a second, then it goes back to my previous window and gives me an error report: hl2.osx has stopped working. Anyone maybe willing to help?

mac's are ♥♥♥♥ at gaming sadly to do gaming really well is to get a pc and you could put the ios what ever mac have on them and put a good graphics card in it i would ge a nvidia graphics card also at lease 8GB of ram

I Have a Big problem can When I Join The Server I'm Admin on and sometimes when i get offline and get back on in the next minute or whenever, i Cant join When it finishes download the files and or Goes to send client info and tries to continue, It Crashes and says Hl2_osx has unexpectedly Closed. Can Anyone Help!

How to fix problem

Step 1. Grab a hammer

Yeah so my boyfriend told me to get this game to play with him because he is an admin or something and it keeps doing this... I don't normally game so don't come at me with any gaming ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about windows being better just fix it because I don't know how!

Guys, if you disable llike 90% of your addons, it will fix it. Just do a fresh install of Gmod and it should work much better.

I have been playing Gmod on PC and Mac and I had to switch to a Mac because my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop broke. I have been playing on gmod servers for a long time and I have run into this problem multiple times and quite frankly I am done with it. The server I mostly play on and currently trying to play on right now is a Star Wars RP server, more specifically a universe rp server. Thousands of times after just barely even any amount of play time on the server it crashes and I get this message "hl2_osx quit unexpectedly." I have verified cache over a million times, deleted local content Unsubscribed from addons>Deleted gmod folder> deleted local content>reinstalled>redownloaded addons>verify cache. I only have about 10 pages of addons or 97 addons. If you think I need to cut down on addons well where to start and my game works fine in singleplayer and I am able to play for hours on end (unless of course I strain my game too much and lets say I spawn a ♥♥♥♥ ton of props,enteties,vehicles,and npcs then it is gonna crash). And right now I can't even get into a server for whatever reason, litterally it was working fine then it decided to kill it self, and then one day it worked and with the crashing problem, and now it just kill it self, again. If the specs of my mac are the source of the problem you can take a peak at them

Processor 4 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3(4x)

Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB
(Storage wise I have 2.57 TB Available)
If someone could assist me with this, I would be grateful. Quick note I don't have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of other games installed just sources game and 4 other people use this mac, but they don't have a lot of stuff installed and such.

i just reinstalled gmod now it wont let me load in the server (darkrp) at all now but sadly im on 2009 imac i dont know how to fix (edit) also it always comes up lua panic something has went horribly wrong (not enough memory) i dont know what to do plz help add me on steam if u can help me
