Garry's mod works for me I have windows 8 1.0, but i'm sure 1.1 would work aswell.

It works, but apparently you can't download mods from Steam with the new update.

I recently got an Acer Aspire with touchscreen and now I can't spawn any objects and I have to double click really fast to switch weapons. Any ideas of what's wrong? I actually have to use the touchscreen if i want to spawn anything.

My gmod 13 server is on my mum computer Windows 8.1 and i tried to join on my own server via my laptop Windows 7, but when i join it says that the server im trying to join uses a newer version, WTF!?

+ if your server fails to download things for like 18 seconds or more than 64 MBs, you need to have Steam ON in your computer, that will fix the problems

when i try to play on garry mod for windows 8 it keeps coming up with sayin that my directx runtime is out of date and then when i go to install the download it just says installation failed, is this because directx runtime only works on windows 7 or am i missing a requirement for the installation
