PROP HUNT Custom Taunts: Help please! (almost solved)
So, i want to add custom sounds and i know how to do it. The sounds need to have these propetiers:
- wma format
- 44100 Hz
- 16bit rate

How to? :/

Im doing this, because i'm about to set up a dedicated server 24/7 where everyone can play (it seems there aren't that much servers out there).

Thanks, Spoony

1. What's wrong with the current sounds?
2. Are you looking in the correct folder? (There are 2 Garry's Mod Folders)

there's nothing wrong, i just wanted to add custom sounds.
Im preety sure im looking in the right folder, look:
C:\Probramfiles (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod

am i supposed to look there?

I believe there is one inside your SteamApps folder, check there. I'm not entirely sure, I'm on my Macbook right now.

I cant find anything........ actually, what do i have to look for?

Well inside the steamapps, you have two folders, Common and you have one that should be your Steam name. (The one you login with) Inside that one is another folder called "garrysmod".
This one holds another folder called "garrysmod_old". From there you have a selection of all the materials on Garry's Mod. Since others are telling you it's in your gamemode folder, I would consider looking there. If oyu can't find anything in there, consider looking through your sounds files. If you can't find ANYTHING on the old Gmod folder, go back to the new one located in common and check those sound files.

Ok wait, cancel everything i sayd before. New problem now. I got the right files, put them in the right place, and got EVERYTHING working as it is supposed to be. Now, in order to add custom sounds they have to be in 88kbps bit rate, otherwise they wont work. How to? :P
I swear, if i solve this, i'll set up a dedicated server where everyone can play :3

No, im sorry, that's not the one i need. The files need to be in WMA not MP3 :/, and of course 88kbps, wich your program does not have (minimum is 96kbps)
