im haveing a problem with my gmod

so im starting my gmod same as always and when it gets to the loading page i get a error saying "Appframework: unable to load module soundemittersystem.dll" what should i do to fix this plz help

I just got this too. I am guessing that avast blocked some files due thinking that they are viruses. Might be false alarm

Just right click on avast icon (right bottom, disable for 10 minutes, verify gmod integrity (right click Gmod, propeties, local files, verify integrity..) after that launch game and you are good to go.

This is what i found on other thread and is working just fine:
1. Close you antivirus.
2. Veryfiy the game cache.
3. Download missing files.
4. Install.
5. Play.

anyone reads this with the problem and doesnt know how to verify game cache in your library right click gmod and go to local files and there it is

I can't close avast...i disabled the shields then verifed the cache, gmod launched but when i start it again it has the error.

right-click on the game, and "check the integrity of the game".
Turn off the anti-virus.
