Yeah, it sucks. In order to fully enjoy Garry's mod to the max, (meaning being able to download any map or mod without problem) you need: Half Life 2 Episode 2, CSS, Portal, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2... You know what? It would be easier to just say "every game made by valve ever".

At the very least you should have Counter-Strike:Source. There's alot of maps and addons which include stuff from CS:S and there's even a Garry's Mod + Counter Strike:Source pack on the store.

Try downloading some CSS Textures from The workshop and then Download CSS the main game

I was told that you could just download the CSS content addon for prop hunt, I did that and about half of the error tiles went away and became actual textures. Was I misinformed, or is there another addon I could download?

You can just go to cs cheater .era .ee
It supplies all of the maps and game files and textures and stuff. Not the games.
