TTT Inquery: Detective Buttons
Hey, guys.
So, we all probably know about the infamous and massively helpful "Traitor Buttons"/"Traitor Triggers". The little floating hands that you click on with E, and then stuff happens.
My question is, however, is it possible to make a button that is only possible to Detectives?

Think about this:
You're making a map like a Police Station or an Airport. Let's say that these Detectives aren't just boring, old Detectives. They're police Sergeants or Airport Security. So, now, we can assume that they would have special priviledges in their workplace. For instance, they might have keys to security camera rooms. A Detective clicks the "Detective Button", and the door swings open, and then closes behind them.

In my opinion, this would give Detectives the added edge that they deserve, as, until now, they've just been higher-priority Innocents.

So, again, my question: Is this possible? What would I have to do to make this work?

(This is a repost from the "Gamemodes" section of this Gmod category. I reposted this in the hopes that I might get a reply in the Help section instead of the other section.

Yes, this would be possible (considering how people put in the traitor buttons). But think of the trolls that would just go in there and hide the entire round, giving the innocents a win. Maybe there would be an auto-teleport after the first 5min the detective is in there? Anyways, this is a good idea and should be added.

Well, the server I'm creating a map for has strict rules about camping faction-specific rooms. So we'd just slay the Detective for camping. Or I could just even the odds with a couple of Traitor rooms.

There is actually a ttt_detective_button entity in TTT, but I don't think it works, as it has the "Obsolete" icon. You can find it in one of the ttt_67thway maps, including the one in GitHub, in a hidden area with dev textures. I found it in my remake of 67thway :3

Your necroposting powers are strong, good sir.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I figured out the problem a long time ago by basically using different class-specific triggers together to make a button on the wall that only Detectives could use.
