Need to change a resolution but I can't open the option menu

I cannot change the resolution of my game in Gmod, I changed of graphic card and I guess it screwed it up. I need a way to either acces the option button, wish is hidden behind the gray bar at the bottom of the screen in the menu or a way to change the resolution of the game outside the game.

From your Steam Library, right-click Garry's Mod > “Properties” > “Set Launch Options". Insert the following into the box:

-w 1024 -h 768

This will set the resolution to the default of 1024x768. From that I am sure you can figure out how to make it launch to whatever resolution you determine is appropriate.

never mind, if anyone is having trouble finding it the box part is in "genral" on the left side list
