doom IWAD for gmod

i would please like to know how to get these files out of my doom 3 bfg edition and mount them on to my gmod files. i already have the game doom 3 bfg edition bought from best buy and it led me to steam so im hoping you know how to fix this IWAD problem. thanks!

You need the GMDoom addon. You can find it on the Workshop.

i have already downloaded that but it keeps showing iwad error

you need to go under the doom 3 bfg edition folder go under wads then copy doom or doom 2 wad. then go under the garys mod folder and paste the wad. i hope this helped unless you already figured it out.

i think what ur supposed to do is fin the i wad then u go find ur garys mod files then it might worek you jiust have to copy paste to ur gmod files

yeah me too i got it like 6 months ago and it tried everything event putting a doom 2 wad in but it still didnt work
