Cannot Find A Way to Change the Default Microphone In Settings

I cannot find this setting anywhere, I recently got a webcam, which of course has it's own built-in Sh-tty microphone, but GMod defaults to it, whereas it used to use my headset mic. I sound like a mumbling garbled mess through the mic on my camera, so finding the setting to change the default audio input device would be good.

You may have to set your default recording input on your computer. Right click your sound, go to recording devices, and set your default to whatever your headset is named to.

I found it, I didn't understand my computer decided to assign the new default audio device (Which is what Steam was using) to the camera even though his headset has been used with my computer for thousands of hours. Yup. Totally logical, anyway, fix'd.

Click on Steam (above) Properties and somewhere you can change it

there is this button at the top of the comment that fixes the problem that when you hover over, it says something along the lines of 'answer to discussions

The reason why people keep posting is because people like me who haven't fixed the problem look on posts like this for answers and would like to find some
