Hacker :(

I was on a server earlier today and a hacker got on the server and started messing everthing up random motd's would pop up and then everybody started spinning in circles. i extied the game when this started happening.
now when ever i get on gmod my charcter just flips out when i look around. it just goes insane, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restoring defaults in settings. unbindall and then restoring, and -left -right, nothing has worked so far :( if anybody has any ideas please help!

and yes my sensitivity settings are normal

try messing with movement controls. Or maybe theres a command to reset EVERYTHING. Idk really. Sucks that happened to you though.

guess we are stuck like this untill more people get hacked and there are more people looking for ways on how to solve this issue, or hopefully someone experiencing this issue is already experimenting fix.
Ive been playing with the console and messing with settings that have to do with the mosue and so far nothing has worked,

... hmmm im sorry this happend to you. maybe look up what Awesomium is. worst case is id delete the steam folder.

yeah im thinking about deleting the steam folder out of progrramfiles :( ill go look up Awesomium

ok i deleted my steam folder and reinstalled everything. it all works now, thanks everyone.

Hey guys, If you every experience this yourself, one way that may get you safe from being hacked is
1: Leave the server or just turn off/plug out the computer right after he does something small.
2: If he starts with something big, Just do what it says to do on this page. :P

Try putting m_yaw 0.02200 into your console it should be a temp fix to your spinning.

I personally type "status" into the console, then get EVERYONE's steam/ip.

THEN, I go report the person I KNOW who is hacking on steam and keep my eye on their steam.

Try reseting the entire game to defalt by deleting all the files in the garrysmod folder and reinstalling, or you can verify the game cache. Hope this helps.

I was just playing Garry's Mod when i found a hacker using aimbot in a cod mod server i even caught video proof of it
