Gmod Driver State Power Failure
I used to be able to play Gmod normally until tonight when everytime I try to play, not even 5 minutes in and my laptop will give me the blue screen of death with the DRIVER_STATE_POWER_FAILURE error. Please help me. I really wanna play Gmod w/o any worries. I'm running Windows 8.1.

Nvm it seems to have fixed itself but just in case, what should I do?

It's probably an update of some sort. Gmod's rule number 1 is...

Updates must fix at least one thing and break at least one other thing.

Yeah, maybe. What I did was keep my laptop shut over the night and it seemed to fixed it. What pissed me off though was that it was only this game that would give me the blue screen.

lol. Maybe it was overheating? I've known several computers to blue screen when they overheat, yet despite giving you the same fears and anxieties as the red ring on an Xbox. It's never permanent.

I've gotten a blue screen quite a few times and its never "killed" my laptop.

I have a Lenovo Y410P and im not so sure if it was overheating. It only blue-screened on Gmod. The problem seemed to have fixed itself. I did leave it completely off the whole night tho so maybe that fixed it.
