Which games should I get to fix the missing textures?
So my friend says CSS will fix most of G-mods black and pink tiles but I am also being told that Half life - 2 does better than CSS. Which should I get? (Pleas explain in comments) Also what does each game cover in multiplayer gamemodes?

GMOD is a pretty much modified-into-sandbox version of HL2, but you get no maps for hl2, and CS:S will help you ALOT, and if you want to be almost perfectly error-less, get TF2

However if there are still some errors, ask somebody on the server if you need some addons to make stuff on the server look right

if crap is still broken, verifiy the games files

(P.S) i have 1000 hours on gmod, so i know what im saying

Also in multiplayer what gamemodes does CSS affect?
goated Dec 10, 2014 @ 2:40pm
CS:S will make these gamemodes almost errorless: Darkrp, TTT, Prop hunt, (sometimes) Zombie survival,

Also what other games should I get that also help get rid of the missing textures?

Team Fortress 2, that will also help as some other servers use it

I am aware of this but I am too lazy to download the textures and it isn't legal to do so.

Realisticly your best bet is too buy the valve complete pack when it goes on sale because then you will have every game needed for Gmod (+ they are good games) http://store.steampowered.com/sub/29197/
