Can't get out of "Fly" Mode and am still no Clipping...

So I am new to Garry's Mod, so sorry for being a noob. I really did search several discussions before making this thread and even tried Google. I am desperate! :/

I just want to create things, but I am still in spectater mode/flying? I tried pressing "V" and even unistalling and reinstalling the game.

I go into either provided maps: "gm_construct" & "gm_flatgrass." I also have my computer specs if that helps any:

Windows 7 Home Premium
64-bit Operating System

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3615QM CPU @ 2.30GHz

Any help or even just suggestions would be greatly appreciated, THANK YOU!

P.S. I also don't see the "creator" gun...

go into options and look inside your key binds and look for noclip and bind it to V and you enter "fly" mode

It already is at "v." I've pressed it and nothing still happens. It also says it is waiting for somthing in the corner if that helps...

it might just be your keyboard you can try killing yourself and see if that works

At the bottom-right, change the gamemode to Sandbox.

That fixed it, I applied it, exited and re-entered. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the help!
