Smoke grenades do NOT work.
I can throw smoke grenades, I can see them explode into a tiny black dot on the floor, but NO SMOKE APPEARS! What is causing this? Considering I have all the install requirements, (counter-strike source and half life 2). Why am I getting this non-functioning thing, all of my other things work such as incendiary, discombobulators, it's becoming a joke.
I've reinstalled all my games, played them all for at least a minute, I've even tried to download a smoke grenade mod from workshop but to no prevail. It's really frustrating me now, please help!

There's is no smoke grenade in GMod. You can have them by addons only.

Understandable, SO in TTT why doesn't the smoke grenade textures appear?

Try going into Counter-Strike: Source and testing a smoke grenade. If it works fine, something is affecting it in Garry's Mod. If it doesn't work properly even in CS:S, verify the game cache of both games.

I checked CSS and it works absolutely fine. So what could affect Gmod? I've tried the apps etc.

Have you tried verifying the game cache yet? If not, go do that. If you have, keep reading below.

You're most likely going to have to do a complete reinstall of Garry's Mod. If the problem still persists after that (make sure you wipe your addons too; unsubbing from them, etc.), then it might be a computer-related issue.

Okay, i've already reinstalled Gmod, and it cannot be computer related as it WAS working before. I shall try to unsub from every single add-on I have, and hope that it may provide a solution, as previously I only disabled them without unsubbing.
