Maximum amount of mods?

if i add liek, five or six more mods to the amount i already have, my game won't load single player.
is there liek, a maximum amount of mods that you can download?

Everytime I launch gmod, and go onto single player, my game crashes, but when I go onto multiplayer, it doesn't crash, anyone know why this occurs and knows how I could fix it?

sometimes i fear we are screwed because 2 times sanic spelled like liek or it was on accident because i sometimes spell the teh so i guess i know where that comes from

There is no download limit, but there is a Limit to what GMOD can Handle without crashing...

Its a Lua File Limit I think
