Grey Character. How to fix without reinstalling?
Well, not too long ago, I was messing around with the garrysmods folder to do some lua editing. I didn't like how fast the running and walking was in sandbox mode. I also did not like the default weapon loadout, so I was editing that as well. After removing the default weapon loadouts and editing the running/walking speed, I went to third person to only find out my models were just a grey man that has no sort of animation whatsoever. I did not mess with any playermodels in any LUA files. I just simply changed the running/walking value and the weapon loadouts, which worked, but now I have a grey model that has no animation. Killing myself did not fix this problem nor changing as a different playermodel. Here is a puush of what I edit:

My question is, how do I fix this without reinstalling gmod or is that my only way of fixing it?

Try verifying your game files.

Go to game library, then right-click on Garry's Mod, then go to properties, and then go to local files, then you'll have an option to verify your game files.

I downloaded the Markiplier character model and now I keep getting an error where the Markiplier character model has white hair when its supposed to have black hair and its not from me changeing the model color in the c menu cause that dose not change anything with this model. it randomly changes back to black hair when I clog mod and restart it or leave the map and reload it or switch maps sometimes but that dose not always work

Hey OP. That's due to Half Life 2's default playermodel. Gordon Freeman doesn't actually have a third person model, he only has Gordan Grayman, a suspicious looking man, never seen move but sliding across the floor - untextured and shifty. Basically, the game is working as intended and I wouldn't know how to fix it - but it's supposed to be like that.

Kinsella, that is due to incorrect lightmapping and shaders. It'll be a model/map issue, not your issue.
