Why is the factory reset command bat file no longer working in Garry's Mod?

ive noticed this problem ever since the 20th anniversary of half life 2 changed several of the files in the directory but i originally thought that this had otherwise nothing to do with gmod's factory reset command no longer working...
that was UNTIL i decided to open the .bat file via notepad and noticed a line of command that states the command will abruptly command if the /hl2.exe isnt found in the directory, then i remembered that the 20th anniversary update changed several of the major files for half life 2

anyways, is it possible to fix this with the current conditions or should we wait for valve to fix half life 2 directory files in order to address this?
im asking because i do wanna factory reset my gmod but idk if its even possible for the devs

for more info, i suggest you guys open the factory reset command in the gmod directory via notepad (or notepad++, that works too) and then look at the commands, which will show that the program automatically closes if theres no hl2.exe present
but due to the 20th anniversary update for half life 2... well, it no longer works due to that fact
i think thats the main culprit on why its not working

someone made that discussion and suprisingly no one couldnt find the solution im currently having a problem too i reinstalled gmod and it still didnt work

ok i found the solution you should edit the factoryreset file inside rename "hl2.exe" into "gmod.exe"

or you can rename gmod.exe to hl2.exe in the folder with the game
