Building and construction tips?

Wheni first started playing Gmod i mostly just enjoyed what i could and did not play the building props no mind. Now im starting to try them out but most of the time when i start and weld two items together they ethier go flying(i think i know why) or fall apart.

Is there a tool addon i need to download so i can contruct my own little buildings on the maps i have?

First, always use snap to grid when welding.
Second, use the noclip tool to noclip two items with each other so they don't react stupidly.
And third, find alot of the client-side workshop addons that help with this stuff. One adds a grid for perfect placement, etc.
