DDoS attacks are rare and really a non-issue, I hosted free servers 24/7 for 2 years and experienced a single attack on one of my client's servers.

Small servers very rarely get attacks, and attacks don't last more than a few minutes- to an hour if you're very unlucky and this person has a wallet.

Can just learn how to use Cloud servers such as Amazon or Google, basically give away a free server for a month +
