Addons not downloading for my friends

Hey. So usally when i join a friend through steam or vice versa, i automatically install any addons they have or they install the ones i have. For some reason now though, when my friends join me they do not install the addons i have, and they simply see me as an error and any guns i have, it looks to them like im holding an error
