Ctrl and Shift keys don't work.

In Garry's Mod and also in every other Source based game. I press them and nothing happens. Also i can't bind anything under those keys because it looks like i didn't even press them but if I click shortcuts including those keys, it works perfectly. I tried reinstalling Steam and games but it didn't change anything. Did anyone have similar problem and if so how to fix it?

Maybe because you didn't bind to them in the first place.

They are binded by default. I'm not an idiot...

Sounds dumb, but just look if they are binded. Might by you're keyboard. Like, with my keyboard, when ever I press the volume keys if aways goes to a different bind, and, only on source games.

Then I am no help here. I have the same problem, and I'm thinking it has to do with my keyboard. Do you have an older keyboard to switch it out just to test it?

Nope. But it works with every other game. So I think that the problem is with Source.

I all else fails, may I suggest perchasing my new (and improved) bluetooth keyboard? It a keyboard, but without a wire inbeted into it. May I also add it has piss poor connection, no matter how good your proccesor is, no matter how much internet you reseave, it will not connect you you computer. Though I also must add that the keyboard worked just fine, with the exeption of the bluetooth connection as previously mentioned. (Product only compatable with windows 4.1) Happy typing :D!!!!!
