Not able to crouch
Hey,
So I've recently started playing gmod again. But I keep on running into a problem. When I try to crouch it doesn't let me. When I press ctrl, I go up and down really quickly. I cleaned up my mods, reinstalled and checked my controls. Also, this is the only source game that does it.

Are you holding down CTRL? Try resetting key binds through the options menu. Try binding 'duck' to a different key.

I tried to rebind it to another key, the same thing happened. So I don't think it's my keyboard

Sounds like you're just pressing CTRL, rather than holding it down. You need to hold down CTRL to stay crouched. Releasing it causes you to stand up.

No, I have been having the same problem. Its basicly broken, its not a user error.

There doesn't seem to be any console errors. At least none that have to do with crouching or the button it's assigned to.

Oh, also yes I do hold it down. Sorry, forgot to mention that.

This may not make a difference, but you could try verifying the game files.

hahahaha pooor you, lucky for me i have 0 g mod problems, i never encountered one ever. mabey you should buy a more expensive computer like me or cry away poor fella

I don't think it has anything to with my pc or my hardware. I think it's more of an issue with GMod.
