Friend Can't Connect To My Local Server [SOLVED]

I click a map, then I click 2 players, and my friend can join. It has worked like that forever. And JUST recently my server does not show up in his local server list, even when I invite him, it's says my server is not responding. Is my anti-virus blocking his connection or vice versa? I really want help, I want to do a deathmatch with my firend but he cant join. :( WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME.

Firewall. Or maybe use the console command "connect IP"

This is known as a listen server. You need hamachi for them to connect, if they are not already connected to your router. If they are, then the person above me is correct.
Hamachi is a free VPN service that connects people to a virtual network, causing a LAN Party possible at long-distances. Me and my friends use this a lot.

Another way for them to connect without being at your house is to port-forward, which takes a long time, and you also need to make a dedicated server, which is quite hard and can cause you to run into issues.

I LEARNED HOW TO FIX IT!!!! HERES HOW: Find 'cmd' (Command Prompt) on your computer, right click it, do RUN AS ADMINISTARTOR, then in the console type 'ipconfig'. (without quotation marks). Hit ENTER. Under Wifi/LAN, find your ipv4 address, (mine was 10.0.0.10, so yours should be similar) and then have your friend (IN GARRYS MOD) go into the console by hitting Tilde, above TAB `. type connect (IP) put your iv4 where the (IP) is. Then they should connect to your game! The end!

Are you running a dedicated server that you want your friend to connect to? If not, you can go to Singleplayer, set a player count and enable Peer to Peer server.
