I don't think he cares that it's illegal. He just cares if he gets the textures for free. Personally, I'm not Scrooge Mc.Duck. If I really want the textures, I can afford CS:S easily enough. Issue is you can actually see through some walls if you don't have the textures. Kinda unfair really. That's what irks me more than anything. But that's also the reason I'm sticking with no CS:S textures.
