How do you delete server content from Garry's Mod?

When ever I go on servers, thge server installs random addons that I dont want, and I cant delete them. How are you supposed to delete the random addons that servers install.

If you delete the addons the server installs and you are subscribed to their collection they will come back, there isnt a possible way to not install the addons from the server. LUA addons you shouldnt have to download such as ULX and uLib because, they are already luacoded onto the server.

Well yea, me personally i know that but how do you delete files from a SPECIFIC server that you dont want to join EVER again, It takes up way too much GB and my computer cannot afford that AT ALL.

All, but it'd clear up some unneccesary hard disk space.
Alternatively you could try doing this process while the game is running and you're connected to your favorite server. I'm not sure if this works but I believe it will only mount the addons on an ad-hoc basis, essentially leaving the ones you use in tact while deleting the ones you don't need.

This will probably help a lot, i went from 45 to 30 gb in one day. Thus now i will have space for servers i actually want to join. Also what do you mean by "Dont delete" isnt that purging?Another edit, Does it delete my gamemodes that ive installed or no?

Yes, purging the folders basically is removing the content within the folder. It worked for me, go ahead and try it! I'm so happy I found this post. Thank you all

I know this thread is old, but I would like to fix something (similar).

The TTT server I play on has an addon for a Battlefield HUD. The only problem, is that the normal HUD isn't removed. Is there a way for me to disable the custom HUD, even though it's not in my subscriptions?

The Battlefield HUD is on scriptfodder not the steam workshop, so its either installed incorrectly or theres a bug (outdated HUD etc)

Dude, go to your steam directory, find steamapps\common\Garry's Mod\garrysmod\addons and use the windows search tool to find the addon, so search battlefield. or battle if it doesnt show up for battlefield, and delete it...
