I can't change my Gmod character!!!!!!!

I know HOW to change my player model, it just won't let me. I have the character I want, but when I hold down C and try to click Player Model it won't let me. I left clicked, I right clicked... Neither worked! Please, help if you know how.

After you select the model you want to be, try disconnecting from the server and reconnecting.

Some Servers Give You Permission To Change Player Model You Have To Have A Rank That Gives You Access

This is on Single Player. When I try to click Player Model, nothing happens. I have double clicked, single clicked and just spammed it. I don't know what to do!

you think thats bad i cant even play the game it crashes when its loading resources

And it glitches me out of the game to my PC home screen
