Microphone volume is way too quiet, only on GMod.

Earlier, I made a thread asking for help on why it felt as though GMod was not recognizing my microphone, despite Steam doing so. No one replied to that, but I've found out that isn't the problem.

The problem is that GMOD barely picks up my voice, and what comes out is too quiet.

My input/output volumes are at max, and even then my voice barely comes through. Even with my microphone in my mouth speaking as loud as I can, no one seems to be able to hear me.

This is ONLY A GMOD issue. No other game, or Steam itself, has this issue. it is EXCLUSIVELY GMod.

Please help me. How do I fix this problem with GMOD?
