- turning up pc volume
- headphone volume (if they have a volume thing)
- go to settings in garrys mod then go to audio and select something like " 2 speakers " or " headphones" and click apply
- go to garrys mod settings then to " voice " and see if multiplayer audio is enabled
- plug headphones in if not already
- unplug and plug back in (headphones)
- check sound mixer, if you dont know what this is, find the volume icon in your taskbar right click it and it should say "sound mixer" make sure all audio is up to your preference (i hope this was clear enough for you to understand, it sounds confusing i know)
- reboot pc if all the above fails
- if your'e still having issues go sell your steam account to someone willing to buy all of your games and stuff, buy a farm and a horse, name the horse Steve, and live happily on a farm and die with no regrets
thats all the stuff i try when fixing my audio, this usually happens when you unplug and audio device while in game, or when plugging in a device in after the game loaded your previous audio settings
Hope I could help.
