Really Creepy Murder Glitch Scary Voice

A really scary thing happened while playing murder on my friend's private server. Now, I'm not sure if I downloaded something strange, because I have played on a public server before, or if it is something like a virus. And, this happened twice, both on a private server. It also happened to no one else on a server. Anyway, I think I was the last one to die in the round, and I was spectating my dead body as the round ended. Then, the game seemed to freeze, and all other audio was cut off from my computer (I know this because my friends always have a Skype call going while we play and it suddenly went silent). So, after a few seconds, a really pixelated sound starts coming through my headphones, and I think it's just static or connection at first- until i hear the voice. It seems to slowly form words, saying "You. Are. Next." Then after about 20-30 seconds, my computer goes back to normal. During the process I could not quit the game, open the start menu, and CTRL-ALT-DEL did nothing. The second time it happened, I tried muting the voice with my keyboard, which worked for around 5 seconds. I don't know if I hit the mute key twice, or if it overrode the audio, but the voice continued. Has anyone had this happen before? Any advice?

If you are being serious, do scan your computer.
Your friend could also be screwing with you, considering it's a private server. Have you told you friend about this? -Though as you explained it, that's unlikely-
Also, see if you can record it.

I have told my friend, he thinks I'm joking. If it happens again I'll unplug my headphones and let it play through my speakers and hopefully record it.

Maybe upload that story to creepypasta wiki. That helped me from getting the Rake from eating my dog. This doesn't seem really possible, unless it's a virus. Have you installed anything lately? (Not from Garrys Mod) Because something ingame from this cannot affect your computer.

Unless he means die in real life, which also wouldn't make sense because no one else has died or anything and at least one person would have to be affected first for you to be "Next"
These ghosts need to get their ♥♥♥♥ together.
