Do I need to keep CSS installed?

I want to play games like TTT and want to know if I need to keep CSS installed, or if I can uninstall it and retains the textures.

you unstalling CSS gets rid of the Textures so yes you do need to keep CSS installed.

can someone help me? every time i try to start garrys mod it says its getting ready to lauch gmod and then it doesnt load. can someone help please
