I've noticed some slightly more resource intensive maps won't even load anymore and will give 'engine error' even when they're the only thing installed so that's been fun. (keeping in mind that the game was running fine a week ago)
And I can't even find them in the workshop items tab, in fact, it only shows my sfm subscribed items.
all of this happened after the patch
Been getting the same thing, although this occurs with Zippy's Gore, Player Speed Changer V2, and Shmovement except that one seems to turn off instead of show lua errors
Tried uninstalling/verifying game files, cleaning the cache folder, removing some useless addons (and manually deleting all addons, to re-download all of them), allocating more memory to the game since yeah can confirm the game memory's usage is now far more overkill then before the update (and that's on both 32 and 64 bit branches)
Well it actually worked, thanks a lot!
Though the game still has memory issues since the last "security updates", so I can only play the 64 bit branch now to avoid the constant crashing (should have updated my original post to mention that, but yeah the game is far more stable on that build for now)
Go to the Gmod workshop page, select "Your Files" on the right -> Subscribed Items. Then "Save To Collection" (make it a new one, it can hold up to 1000 addons max),
if you don't see the "Subscribe to All" button, go to "Edit basic collection information" and make sure you select "Items that work together". (Also worth mentioning, but even after unsubscribing from all addons, all the ones in workshop\content\4000 did vanish, but the ones from the Addons folder had to be deleted manually)
