GMOD Glitch - Pale Heads On TF2 Ragdolls
I've noticed a strange glitch with my TF2 ragdolls. It occurs randomly, but certain ragdolls have a strange pale-skin complexion on their head.

I've taken a screenshot of it occuring with the Demo, Scout, Medic, Spy and Engineer ragdolls. It can sometimes occur with the Heavy ragdoll too, but that can usually be fixed. As for the others, they don't seem to be fixable. Sometimes they can randomly fix themselves, but that happens very rarely.

I've checked with other people if they can find a fix, and they've never even seen something like this before. Some even describe it as "Creepy". .

I've validated my TF2 files and my GMOD files, but to no avail. HWM ragdolls aren't affected, but I don't use those that often. Workshop ragdoll addons sometimes work, but sometimes can be broken too.

Can anyone help me out?

UPDATE: I've noticed spawning a Demo ragdoll from the workshop (Like the Enhanced Demoman 2013 ragdoll) can fix the pale skin until the Workshop ragdoll is deleted. This fix doesn't work for the other classes.

I also noticed that putting your icon over the ragdoll with the Submaterial addon and scrolling down the list of textures until the pale skin disappears seems to fix it as well. It's a temporary fix, but it's something.

This has something to do with rendering, my speculation is that they have pale heads from incorrect lighting(if it persists on all maps then it isn't the mappers problem).

I know this is an old post but I was having the same problem and turns out the command that fixes everything is mat_specular 0
