Crashing on finished on the loading screen

Every time i open Garry’s mod and it loads it always stops at finished and this never happened before so idk what’s going on.

Verify Integrity of your local game files.

Right click Garry's Mod in your Library >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity.
Sounds like something corrupted and this should repair the file(s).

If that does not work then do the following: Check your mods to make sure you don't have anything that would cause such an issue.

If you do not have a single mod that's being unstable/glitchy then try to Factory Reset Garry's Mod by going to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod" and double clicking the file named "FactoryReset-GMod.bat".

If you have went through all the steps above and the game is still acting up, try to fresh reinstall Garry's Mod. Uninstall Garry's mod via the steam library, go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common" and delete the "GarrysMod" folder. (Steam usually does not remove game files from this folder after said game(s) was uninstalled). and then reinstall Garry's Mod, wait for all your mods to download from the workshop after launching, test a map to see if the issue is somehow still present.

this is happening with me aswell and this is my first time opening it so i cant have any mods causing a issue. when i verify the integrity of local game files it says that there is "one file that failed to verify and will be reacquired" but it doesn't do anything after

this is happening to me aswell and i just got a new laptop and deleted gmod off my old one yet it still isn't working i've tried everything and i still can't play

maybe you reached the limit of the amount of mods idk

late reply but there is one scenario where if you Delete your gmod for whatever reason and get this Error when Reinstalling. you gotta make sure You are running on the x86 Branch when reinstalling . the game is natively set on 32 bit so people getting this issue in a near Future keep this in mind.
