GMOD dark screen

When I play, my screen just goes dimmer than what it should be. What causes this problem? I can barely play because I need to use the flashlight to see ANYTHING

Mods and also verfiy game cache.

Yeah,Then if this does not work Reinstall gmod,If still persist Uninstall ALL addons the game Reinstall game relaunch steam,If it then contuines on Try restarting The computer,If still Send Steam support a Issue Ticket. Also what are your system specs?

Not once had someone suggested changing the brightness...

Options > Video > Adjust Brightness Levels

doesnt work. The screen goes dark at the same level of brightness no matter what. Making it higher doesn't do crap

for things.

for things.

Checked the firewall, nothing unusual. I do a scan every 3 days, so yeah.
