this server is running a newer version

I cant join any servers since tuesday and tried a bunch of stuff in the internet but it still doesn't work please help guyss

the server may be running a newer version (beta) of the game, or you're still running the old version of the game. If so, verify the game cache of your garrys mod and it should fix it.

You need to ask the server owner the servers don't automatically update usually so you need to ask them to update the server or update your garrys mod

i think my garry's mod is the one outdated, i dont know why but i keep it up to date but i still cant connect to their severs and i tried to join other servers as well its still the same

Then your garrys mod may be outdated try right clicking it going to properties then verify game cache

i tried that already it still didnt work

im having the same problem, i literally just finished downloading the game and none of the servers i join let me in because of this thing

just delete everything you have about garrys mod and reinstall it again
thats what i did then it worked again :D
