Garry's Mod Controls Problem

Basically I went to install an addon, it was one of those "realistic driving" ones where you had to press a button to start up the vehicle. Well the key that was bound to start up the vehicle was K. K was also bound to the kill command. So I unbound K and used the default keys (I just hit "Use Defaults") and I found I couldn't open the spawn menu, the context menu, no clip or undo things. i went to my controls and found out the "Garry's Mod" thing wasn't in my controls (where you bind controls to no clip, undo, etc.) I have currently tried to uninstall the game and remove all addons. Nothing worked. If anyone can please help me I would be forever grateful. I could also be extremely retarded and found I disabled something somewhere. Anyway please share any knowledge you have on the situation. (Also I have tried verifying my game files)

unbindall to the console and then restore defaults in keyboard settings.

this is why i have my kill key binded to F8.

go to the cfg folder
(c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\garrysmod\garrysmod\cfg)
remove config.cfg
rename config_default.cfg to config.cfg
start your game and rebind your keys to your liking.

Why not just unbindall into console?

I have already tried that, as stated in my original post.

You didn't not typed "unbindall" into the console

Why not just unbindall into console?

well, you can, but i prefer to do it my way, since the game isn't running and can't force any changes etc

Yes I did. Several times. That doesnt make that Garrys Mod thing come back

Update: typing the command "exec config_default" into the console at least let me use the 1-6 keys to swap weapons. The Q key also switches weapons

thats default for games like counter-strike. just type bind "q" "+menu" and then you should be able to access q menu... or i mean, you could jus rebind it in the settings.

Thank you! I had unsubscribed from all my addons and i didnt know that they were still in an addon folder in gmod so i had to delete them
