Racing Wheel + ♥♥♥♥♥ Support?

Hi everyone, a few months back, I bought a Logitech G29 Steering wheel that came with the pedals too. I was wondering if there was a way to set a steering wheel up with gmod, so you can drive your car addons around.

It would be really fun :D
And I'm fine if there is anything I have to download for it!

no, i highly doubt there is any support for those devices at all... garrysmod is really dated game and pc's have a hard time running it sometimes, even high end ones.

There absolutely is! you can do it the easy way, by going into options, tab mouse and then just select "enable the gamepad". For pedals it is most likely to select the switch axis option too. If this does not work, you can just go into controls and assign the walk, strafe , jump and sprint to the pedals and steer.

In the tab keyboard you can see all your key mappings, right?
The only thing you have to do now is click on the action you want to remap, click edit key and then press the ♥♥♥♥♥ or turn the steering wheel to assign that action to that movement type.
For example:
Forward = Y axis pos
Backward = Y axis neg
look left = X axis neg
look right = x axis pos
And then the buttons on the steering wheel for certain actions suc as use, jump, duck and primary fire.

Also SCar addon does not have steering wheel support. You can assign the controls too, but there's no such thing as smoothly turning around corners. It just chooses 100% left or right, and 100% gas or brakes. sadface

when I turn the wheel while editing the key, it does not appear as a key

Yes and you don't need any mods, just the logitech controller editor software that should have come with the wheel on a disk. Install it, and change the pedals to a single axis and enable joystic on garry's mod
