Theater Mode in Gmod? (Not Cinema Mod!)

I've been watching some Vanoss Gmod for a while, and I notice for some scenes in his videos, it shows the gameplay, but from another angle. It's pretty much lik Theater Mode in Black Ops. I'm basically wondering how he did this? It is a mod? A coding trick? I need to know this soon. If you don't know, thanks for reading anyways.

I think it may be a SFM feature.

I don't think he would actually go through recreating the whole process just to do that. Its not SFM I can guarantee that!
