Failure trying to load user files: 16 -FIXED/CLOSED-

For the past hour or two I have been incapable of loading my subscribed / favorited mods. Every time I click my subscribed/favorites I get:

Failure trying to load user files: 16

I have gone through my computer files and stripped my PC of every mod, including the .gma files. I am still incapable of loading my subscribed / favorites. Anyone else having this problem?

I am having this problem as well, and I am completely unable to check any think in my content section of my profile as well as the mods I am subscribed to, and I had one of my friends check my profile as well and had the same issue, but it did not happen for them, so it is likely that this is a server-side issue with steam accounts, not just Garrys Mod

I have the same problem.
Got my mate to check if he could look at his and he said he can.
DON'T reinstall steam it doesn't help.
Worse thing is (for me at least) mods don't work in-game.
I hope Steam fixes it soon it was working fine till lasts nights update.............

Im also having this problem ive tryed deleting all addon files and restarting my internet but nothing helps im beginning to think its a issue on steams part.

As DemonicDovakiin said it was working fine till last nights update so im guessing theres a problem with the update ive ask a few friends on my friends list and some of them are having the same problem, Also im not sure if its connencted to the problem at hand but my steam keeps redownloading workshop content every 5 minutes or so.

wut was that im still having the problem so
