Connection failed after 6 retries

Me and my brother or trying to play garry's mod on a hamachi server. I can connect to my server , but my brother can't join me. It says: Connection failed after 6 retries. We've been trying to connect for 24h. We are in the same house. Thx for reading.

LOL, then make a LAN server...there is no point in Hamachii if you are on the same network.
Use Evolve instead too, it is safer and better.

Actually, we use hamachi because we have two other players who want to connect, and they are not in our network.
2 days ago, it worked perfectly, but now, no one can connect to the server except me, even my brother who is in the same house can't, and the error msg is the same for everyone.

Dude you enable hamachi and you just put multiplayer instead of singleplayer

As of the most recent update you can just invite steam friends to gmod servers without hamachi

Hi, thx for all of you to take the time to explain me how to do it. I finaly found the problem. You just need to go to your firewall and disabled public & private option. Thx again. Good night.

Evolve is aweful, the ads (that they said the removed) play for no reason, Hamachi is just simpler, plug and play.
