Half life 2 episode 2 textures missing

Hello i just bought half life 2 episode 2 for the textures on garrys mod and to finish the story. I opned up garrys mod and i couldnt find any of the half life 2 episode 2 maps, weapons, or npc. Please help i dont know what to do.

You need to download and install the game, and then mount it in garrys mod.

In the menu, there's a little square with a controller icon in it (bottom right), click on it, and enable the checkmark beside Half Life 2: Episode 2. Restart Gmod and there you go.

go into your steam common folder on 2 seperate windows, go into garrys mod, garrys mod, addons and on your other window copy and paste half life 2 episode 2 on your addons folder
